This Policy applies to the Broken Hill Book Company (BHBC), including the employees, contractors and sub-contractors. This Policy outlines the obligations which the BHBC team has in managing the personal information we hold about our clients, potential clients, contractors and other stakeholders. Management of Personal Information:
The Privacy Act requires us to take reasonable steps to protect the security of personal information. BHBC personnel are required to respect the confidentiality of personal information and the privacy of individuals.
The BHBC Team takes steps to protect personal information from misuse and loss, from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure by use of physical security and restricted access to electronic records. Where personal information is no longer required for a permitted purpose under the Privacy Act, the BHBC Team will take reasonable steps to destroy it.
